Important Announcement (EN)

Hello Infer-fans, welcome to a new devlog for Infernulia (although it's more of an important announcement about the project in general)

I currently have mixed feelings about making or resuming the project, or looking back on it. Unfortunately, the development of the game until recently was not the most pleasant experience in the world. I loved making the game, since I started. But what doesn't leave me calm is knowing and remembering that behind the project there were the wrong people involved, whether in small or large details. Every time I see the game I only remember everything I lost, everything others made me lose, and it's like all my effort has gone to waste (which in a way it did happen). And as you know, I can't edit the rpg maker 2003 game anymore. There are many things I can't change anymore. And it's something that hurts me a lot. This whole process of renewing the game and forgetting about the original is painful, more than you can imagine.

But hey, here I am. I'm still here. Despite all this, I'm still excited about the game, and about my stuff in general. So, that's it for the past.

Because of all this, now (or rather, a few days ago), I made the decision to start developing Infernulia again from scratch. No longer in RPG Maker MV as planned, but in Godot.

Below I will answer the questions that will possibly arise based on the decision I have made:

Q&A time!

1. Will Infernulia Classic and Infernulia Try2 (RPG Maker MV) now stop being canonical?

Not really. There are details that will stop being canonical, but it will be more due to the section of sprites and specific dialogues that do not clash with Infernulia itself.

2. Will Infernulia now have a different graphic style and gameplay?

The idea I have is to keep the graphic style of Infernulia Classic, since I grew very fond of it and I find it very iconic and beautiful. I plan to remake the sprites, though, since I won't have any more limitations on the resolution of the drawings and the color section.

Regarding gameplay, :) [I plan to make several types of games within Infer. It won't only be a walking simulator, but also a 2D and 3D platformer (among other types of games that I can't remember right now). I want Infer to be everything I want it to be. Everything.

3. Will it take long to release a public version of the new Infer?

It's possible not. Right now I have very basic script/code problems (haha), but I don't think it will take long to release an indev version or something like that. For now it all depends on the part of making the code of the game. It's the first time I make a game with code hehe.

What I do know is that I'm going to release the rpgmakerMV version of Infer very soon. This is as a reward for the wait, and also to finish off the past and start the present.

4. Will the Classic version and the Try2 version (from rpgmakerMV) be available forever?

Yes. I will do my best to make a walkthrough of Infer Classic, as well as Try2, so that more people know about the game. Although, I will not take Infer Classic into account much because of the situation I mentioned.

5. ?

I can't think of another question that I can answer... Oh yes, Infernulia Try2 is going to be available for Android too. I THINK, because I haven't tried that function that rpgmakerMV has of exporting the game to a phone.

I think that's all, friends of yutup.

I promise that the game will be made entirely by me, and if not, by someone I trust. I promise that your hopes and dreams are in good hands :)

Without further ado, I say goodbye. We'll see each other for Infernulia Try2. Bye :)
